The Lady Hillary   

The Lady Hillary is a 12m powerboat owned and operated by the Sir Edmund Hillary Outdoor Pursuits Centre of New Zealand (OPC), out of Karaka Bay on Great Barrier Island.

It seats 26 passengers and is capable of cruising, fully loaded, at speeds in excess of 20 knots. It has been purpose-designed for the exposed waters around Great Barrier Island, and is a capable rough water craft.

The Lady Hillary is available as a method of transporting your group out to Great Barrier island. We are flexible and able to cater to your travel times. The Lady Hillary is the most efficient way to move a group  to and from Great Barrier Island, as this will get you straight to our center on Great Barrier.
